Job Description

As a Cloud Platform Engineer at DEVK, you will play a key role in shaping our cloud infrastructure and driving our transition to cloud and agility. You will be responsible for the administration and further development of our Kubernetes clusters, as well as the operation, development, and maintenance of Docker images. You will optimize our deployment pipeline and implement and administer AWS services, as well as administer and further develop network and security components in AWS and Kubernetes. You will also be responsible for monitoring our infrastructure.

Requirements
  • You have a developer mindset and are familiar with trunk-based development and continuous delivery
  • You have an interest in designing new development and operation models
  • You are open to new technologies and the opportunities offered by DEVK for permanent further development
  • You have already gained experience in container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes) and cloud services (preferably AWS)
  • You have a broad technical knowledge in the field of cloud and containers, Linux knowledge, and knowledge of agile methods
  • You have basic knowledge of network technology
  • You have good knowledge of the following languages, tools, or technologies:
    • Kubernetes, Helm
    • Hashicorp Stack (Vault, Terraform, Packer)
    • Golang
    • ElasticSearch, Kibana
    • ArgoCD
