Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Kaufland e-commerce. As a key member of our platform team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and maintainable cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Optimize databases and data storage systems to ensure scalability, high availability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the best possible customer shopping experience.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using IaC tools like Terraform and/or Ansible.
Requirements
  • Profound experience in using database solutions as a Software Engineer for different use cases.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with relative fluency in coding and high traffic/high availability system architecture.
  • Extensive experience with IaC, preferably with Terraform and/or Ansible.
  • Experience in functional leadership of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international, English-speaking team.
