About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliable operation of high-voltage equipment across various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and report on inspection, maintenance, and commissioning activities for high-voltage systems.
  • Conduct dielectric measurements on primary and secondary high-voltage equipment, analyzing results to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage site operations effectively in complex projects, overseeing technical aspects and quality control.
  • Identify and mitigate potential technical risks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications for high-voltage systems, conducting thorough studies and evaluations.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in the high-voltage sector by acquiring and sharing knowledge about our product portfolio.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to colleagues or assembly workers involved in installation, inspection, and maintenance activities.
  • Offer expert advice on service activities and technical solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our high-voltage service offerings, contributing to the growth of our business.
  • Lead high-voltage tests in various settings, including workshops, customer sites, and specialized test laboratories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and technical specialists within the industry.

Your Qualifications

  • Hold a completed HBO degree in Energy Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrate proven experience as a supervisor in international high-voltage projects.
  • Possess relevant work experience in the high-voltage sector, preferably gained at a manufacturer of high-voltage equipment or network company.
  • Exhibit extensive knowledge of primary components and protection philosophies for high-voltage systems.
  • Hold additional EHS-related training certifications (VCA, VP, etc.).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations (NEN, ISO, etc.) pertaining to the high-voltage industry.
  • Be a proactive, persuasive, and effective team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluently speak and write Dutch and English; German language proficiency is an advantage.
