About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Engineer Supervisor to join our team at Siemens Energy in Amersfoort, Netherlands. As a key member of our Grid Technologies Business Unit, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of High Voltage Switchgear and Transformers, as well as providing technical advice and implementation of solutions tailored to our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution and reporting of inspection, maintenance, and installation work.
- Performance and analysis of dielectric measurements on primary and secondary High Voltage equipment.
- Site management for complex projects.
- Control of technical risks and quality.
- Conducting studies and evaluating technical specifications.
- Gathering and sharing knowledge about our product portfolio.
- Leading and managing a team of colleagues or assembly workers (1-15) for installation, inspection, and/or maintenance work.
- Providing advice on service work and technical solutions.
- Developing activities that enhance our portfolio in the high voltage sector.
- Leading HV tests in our workshop, at the customer's site, or in an HV test laboratory (e.g., KEMA).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven work experience as a supervisor in international high voltage projects.
- Relevant work experience in the high voltage sector, preferably with a manufacturer of high voltage equipment or a network company.
- Extensive knowledge of primary components and safety philosophy.
- Additional EHS-related training (VCA, VP, etc.).
- Knowledge and insight into the field regarding laws and regulations (NEN, ISO, etc.).
- Proactive, convincing, and communicative team player.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both in writing and speaking (German is a plus).
