About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Development Team Lead to join our team at ÖRAG Rechtsschutzversicherung. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and ensuring the successful delivery of complex IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of developers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues to ensure project success
  • Develop and implement plans to improve team performance and productivity
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IT development role, with a strong background in Java EE
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of software development and architecture
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and prioritize business requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
