Technical Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Technical Project Manager.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive protection and service to our customers, and we rely on our IT department to achieve this.

An important pillar for our success is our IT department. We are looking for a leader who can manage and organize our team, including developing employees through regular feedback discussions and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize the team, including developing employees through regular feedback discussions and performance reviews
  • Communicate company and strategic decisions and information to employees, as well as lead change processes
  • Take on the technical leadership for a product team, including coordinating the team and managing regular meetings
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application managers and provide advice on product-specific topics for business areas
  • Evaluate and translate technical requirements with the application manager and possibly the Solution Architect and/or technical product manager
  • Prioritize business requests considering urgency and available IT resources, as well as manage the backlog
  • Develop solutions for responsible units through prioritization and cross-team decisions
  • Estimate effort and plan time and sprints for individual changes within the product team
  • Take on the role of technical project manager

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in software development and software architecture in the Java EE environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership position
  • Proven success in technically leading complex IT projects
  • Experience in leading and motivating IT teams
  • Strong knowledge in software development and software architecture of Java EE applications as well as in current IT technologies, common programming languages, and frameworks
  • Communication and moderation skills
