About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at SAP, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions for our Sovereign Cloud platform.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, including the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to identify and address technical challenges, and collaborate with our hyperscaler provider partners to ensure seamless integration with their services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions for our Sovereign Cloud platform
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify and address technical challenges
  • Work with hyperscaler provider partners to ensure seamless integration with their services
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing, managing, or deploying technical infrastructure at a global scale on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
  • Strong technology skills and the willingness to learn new topics quickly
  • Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver services to meet stakeholders' demands on a timely basis
