About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Automation Technician to join our team at ROM Technik. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement automation plans and specifications for our clients, utilizing your expertise in automation and control systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our project and site managers, ensuring that all technical aspects of the project are properly executed.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation projects using KNX/ETS/Codesys, and ensure that all technical requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with our project and site managers to ensure that all technical aspects of the project are properly executed, and that all quality and safety standards are met.
  • Install and commission automation systems, ensuring that they are properly integrated and functioning as intended.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with our quality and safety standards, and that all relevant regulations and codes are complied with.
Requirements
  • Hold a successful completion of a training program in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
  • Have a strong interest in innovative technology and possess a good understanding of technical principles.
  • Have knowledge of programming languages such as Codesys or KNX/ETS, and be proficient in MS-Office applications.
  • Hold a valid driver's license, Class B, and be willing to travel and work flexibly.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a high level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Be able to make decisions and take initiative, and have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
