Officer Accounts Payable Risk Management Specialist

About the Role
BASF Services Europe GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Officer Accounts Payable Risk Management to join our team. As a key member of our Accounts Payable and Freight Cost Management Department, you will play a crucial role in providing professional invoice management for all affiliated European BASF Group companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, including checking and posting, as well as clarifying accounts and verifying payment runs for our BASF Group Companies.
- Analyze automatically booked invoices and advance the automation of invoice processing to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and finance departments of the BASF Group to optimize the purchase-to-pay process.
Requirements
- Commercial business training or a degree in Business Administration.
- First-hand experience in accounting and projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Basic knowledge of SAP.
- Fluency in English and German.
