About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at designface GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing global procurement processes, from forecasting and planning to supplier development and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet business objectives
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions and supplier selection
  • Source new suppliers and build a fast and agile supplier network
  • Qualify suppliers and assess them regularly to ensure compliance with company requirements
  • Define and implement supply and replenishment strategies to ensure material availability
  • Drive end-to-end purchase management from sourcing to goods receipt
  • Ensure on-time and on-quality delivery, and drive performance reviews with suppliers
  • Create and maintain ERP master data for suppliers and material
  • Establish strong relationships between suppliers and the company, and lead problem-solving efforts
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and represent supply chain requirements
  • Plan, drive, and lead improvement projects to enhance agility, automation, and digitalization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or technical project management roles
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and consensus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
  • Fluent in English
