About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Services Manager to join our team at the Munich Marriott City West. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping strategies to maintain exceptional cleanliness and quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet Marriott International's high standards.
- Manage and control housekeeping budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and front office, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of housekeeping staff.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including guest satisfaction, cleanliness standards, and staff performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
