About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at EPLAN. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance of our CAE applications in agile teams, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Customer Feedback: Review customer feedback and develop improvements based on customer feedback, enhancing our software to meet customer needs.
  • Test Support: Support agile teams in the implementation of functional tests, ensuring that our software is thoroughly tested and meets customer expectations.
  • Test Process Development: Maintain and further develop agile test processes to maintain the high quality level of our software, ensuring that our software remains competitive in the market.
  • System Testing: Create and implement system tests, ensuring that our software is thoroughly tested and meets customer expectations.
  • Error Documentation: Document errors/requests in our ticket system (TFS), ensuring that issues are properly tracked and resolved.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with team leaders, partners, project managers, and end users to plan, design, and execute test scenarios, ensuring that our software meets customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable training.
  • Experience: First professional experience in the quality assurance of software.
  • Agile Methodologies: Enjoy agile software development methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Certification: Certification according to ISTQB - Certified Tester and/or practical experience with our products (Electric P8 / ProPanel) is an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Enjoy working in a team and have a talent for communication.
  • Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills.
