We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director for our Geriatric Department at EMC Adam GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our geriatric care services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive geriatric care program, including acute geriatric care and early rehabilitation services
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and coordination of care
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure efficient and effective department operations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our department remains at the forefront of geriatric care
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Neurology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Experience in geriatric medicine, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
