Leiter Palliativmedizin

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced physician to lead our palliative care team at Klinikum Nordfriesland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical leadership to the team and develop a comprehensive palliative care concept for our hospital.
• Collaborate with external palliative care providers in the region to integrate their services into our concept.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for palliative medicine.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ambulatory patients and ensure their palliative care needs are met.
• Oversee the palliative care of inpatients and ensure their needs are met.

Requirements:

• Board certification in a patient-centered specialty such as internal medicine, anesthesiology, or general medicine.
• Additional training in palliative medicine and prior experience in the field.
• Desirable qualifications include expertise in psycho-oncology, pain management, or nutrition medicine.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
