Job Title: Senior Cloud Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join our team at Software AG. As a key member of our cloud architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions for our international customers.

About the Role

The Senior Cloud Solution Architect will provide technical leadership and guidance to our customers in modernizing and transforming their enterprise applications into cloud architectures. You will work closely with our customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful cloud adoption and migration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud architecture blueprints for Adabas and Natural applications
  • Collaborate with cloud Hyperscalers to engineer and document cloud architectures
  • Support customers in cloud rehosting projects
  • Collect and review customer requirements and translate them into features backlogs
  • Mentor and train people on cloud technologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud-readiness capabilities
  • Observe and understand relevant cloud market trends and services
  • Communicate and showcase product cloud capabilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in architecting, developing, and deploying enterprise-class full-stack applications to the cloud
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud application architectures
  • Experience working with cloud Hyperscalers and application-related cloud services
  • Extensive hands-on tool knowledge to setup, configure, script, automate, provision, test, run, and monitor cloud infrastructures
  • Knowledge about DevOps development practices and tool chains
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with customers and partners
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve complex tasks
  • Self-learning and self-driving attitude delivering results according to well-defined goals and measurements
  • Professional skills to instruct and coach internal/external stakeholders
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud solution architectures
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad to support customers globally
