IT Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Manager/IT Security Officer (m/f/d) to enhance our client's cybersecurity posture. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the safeguarding of our client's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice to the client's leadership on IT security issues and assist in the formulation of robust IT security strategies.
- Development of Security Framework: Design and refine the organizational framework, processes, and documentation related to IT security (e.g., CERT, ISMS) in accordance with BSI standards.
- Conducting Internal Audits: Organize and execute internal IT security audits across various client locations.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Evaluate IT security risks and devise strategies and recommendations to bolster the client's security measures.
- Incident Response: Oversee the investigation and resolution of IT security incidents affecting the client.
- Awareness Initiatives: Create and implement training programs to enhance employee awareness of IT security practices.
- Support for IT Projects: Actively engage in the client's IT projects, ensuring adherence to IT security protocols.
- IT Security Reporting: Regularly compile IT security reports and provide impartial counsel to the client's IT management on security-related matters.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in the field of IT security
- In-depth knowledge of IT security standards such as BSI, ISO/IEC 27001, etc.
- Proficient in conducting audits and risk assessments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively
- Fluency in German
