IT Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Manager/IT Security Officer (m/f/d) to oversee and enhance the security framework for our client. This pivotal role involves ensuring the integrity and safety of IT infrastructures in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice to management on IT security issues and assist in the development of robust security strategies.
- Security Framework Development: Design and improve the organizational structure, processes, and security documentation (e.g., CERT, ISMS) in accordance with BSI standards.
- Internal Assessments: Organize and execute internal audits of IT security across various client locations.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate IT security vulnerabilities and formulate strategies to enhance the security posture.
- Incident Response: Manage the investigation and resolution of IT security incidents.
- Awareness Initiatives: Create training programs to elevate employee awareness regarding IT security practices.
- Project Oversight: Support and monitor IT projects to ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Security Reporting: Generate comprehensive IT security reports and provide strategic insights to IT management.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in IT security management
- In-depth knowledge of security standards such as BSI, ISO/IEC 27001, etc.
- Proven experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information
- Fluency in German
