About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Postcode Lotteries. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing data products that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources.
  • Build scalable and reliable data systems to ensure efficient and timely data access for analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and design data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain data integration, transformation, and validation techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies like AWS and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools like Matillion and data storage solutions such as relational databases and data lakes.
