Quality Assurance Engineer for Suppliers

RLE Engineering & Services GmbH is seeking a dedicated professional for a key role in supplier quality management.

Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/d)
Location: Dresden Responsibilities
  • Organizing and conducting supplier audits and potential analyses according to VDA 6.3 standards.
  • Actively participating in the supplier selection process.
  • Implementing and monitoring quality improvement measures for suppliers.
  • Assessing new suppliers and evaluating existing ones.
  • Overseeing preventive quality assurance measures at the supplier level.
  • Managing problem analysis and resolution of supplier-related quality issues.
  • Leading supplier escalations.
  • Executing quality-related project activities.
Qualifications
  • Completed degree in natural or engineering sciences or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management, particularly in the automotive sector.
  • Strong knowledge in supplier management.
  • VDA 6.3 auditor certification and experience as a second-party auditor are advantageous.
  • Proficient in quality management standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, with good knowledge of quality tools like 8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
