Role Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of digital procurement initiatives across various countries. This role involves collaborating closely with the internal IT team to ensure effective project management and seamless knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative digital purchasing strategies and projects on an international scale.
- Serve as the primary liaison for digitalization initiatives and the standardization of procurement processes.
- Enhance the efficiency of procurement operations through digital transformation.
- Oversee project streams and interdependencies, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Participate in procurement functions including sourcing, tendering, pricing strategies, and supplier evaluations.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and maintain professional documentation within project teams.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of the article master data strategy.
- Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and lead the development of efficient application processes.
- Proactively define the vision for article master data and uphold data quality standards.
- Lead initiatives for change management and organizational transformation.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project and process management.
- Strong consulting background with expertise in managing complex projects.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes.
- Expertise in change management practices.
- Experience in master data management is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and proficiency in both German and English.
