Quality Assurance Development Specialist

Your role in this journey:
- Executing Quality Assurance Activities in line with the DevQA methodologies
- Guiding the Development Team on System, Software, and Hardware matters
- Overseeing supplier operations concerning System, Software, and Hardware
- Establishing Quality Assurance Plans, protocols, operational guidelines, and tools
- Engaging and coordinating with Certification Bodies on Development Assurance matters
- Coaching and educating fellow engineers on Development Assurance principles and DevQA methodologies
- (When serving as an Airworthiness Specialist) Formulating Certification Plans related to Design Assurance
- (When serving as a CVE) Conducting Design Assurance Evaluations, both internally and with suppliers
Evaluate your professional expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience with DO-178B/C and/or ARP 4754(A) and/or DO-254
- A minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance roles
- Strong communication, negotiation, and evaluation skills
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German is advantageous
- Proactive mindset: demonstrates curiosity, asks insightful questions, and challenges existing norms to make informed decisions while managing and facilitating change; exhibits enthusiasm and a drive for improvement
