Quality Assurance Role at Volocopter GmbH
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain Control and Inspection Plans for warehouse, part manufacturing, and assembly operations.
- Conduct inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with design and industry standards.
- Prepare and review FAI plans.
- Participate in CCB and CIB meetings and ensure timely implementation of changes to affected processes and Control/Inspection Plans.
- Analyze Non-conformity Reports and monitor defect trends.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report off-track results to upper management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project issues.
- Develop process improvements and descriptions in accordance with Part 21, EN9100, and other applicable aerospace industry standards.
- Provide Quality Assurance input to the Supplier Quality Team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Quality Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering in the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of aviation-relevant regulations (Part 21, EN9100, EN9102).
- Problem-solving skills using methods like 5W, Ishikawa, and 8D.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, NCR, and RCA practices.
- Fluent communication skills in English and German.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PLM, and ERP tools (Teamcenter and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus).
