The Product Manager is responsible for shaping and sustaining the product strategy and roadmaps for our Identity Documents division, aligning technology initiatives with other business sectors and the overarching company vision.

We are seeking a Product Manager ID Documents (m/w/d) for a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the product roadmap from concept to execution.
- Develop business cases, define business models, and collaborate with the Head of Development on make-or-buy decisions, cost calculations, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain a product backlog for current and future features, coordinating regularly with the R&D team.
- Collaborate with other product managers to ensure the interoperability of the Veridos product suite.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy, defining product pricing and market positioning.
- Provide second-level support during the tender phase for product specifications.
Main Tasks:
- Manage products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
- Define product requirements and specifications, including legal, quality, safety, and commercial standards.
- Facilitate internal communication regarding the product portfolio and roadmap, and conduct product training sessions.
- Analyze market trends and integrate insights into the product strategy.
- Monitor customer needs and trends to keep products at the forefront of technology.
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the creation of related materials (videos, brochures, white papers, etc.) to aid sales efforts.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in printing technology, plastic technology, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in business administration are advantageous.
- Extensive experience in product management for complex technical products, including hardware and software components.
- Deep understanding of ID documents and their security features.
- Experience in developing business plans.
- Adept at building and maintaining professional networks and relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills in both English and German.
