Global Logistics Manager - Medical Sector (d/f/m)

We are currently seeking a Global Logistics Manager specializing in the medical sector to enhance our Global Warehouse & Logistics department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize transportation networks and freight lanes across Europe, collaborating with third-party logistics providers.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to align logistics strategies.
  • Collect and analyze global data to assess current freight lanes and identify potential improvements.
  • Review and map the existing global logistics network, including flows and volumes, in partnership with the Global Network Optimization Manager.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement, driving innovative solutions in systems and processes across Warehouse & Logistics functions.
  • Lead transportation and service review meetings, providing management reports.
  • Ensure that medical requirements are integrated into our global EWOW project and future system setups to support medical objectives.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in global transportation and warehousing, with a focus on transportation.
  • Proven experience in managing third-party logistics providers.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset (proficiency in Excel, SA, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with global and international stakeholders.
  • Experience as a SAP Key User or similar SAP knowledge, ideally with S4/Hana.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
