Global Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Global Logistics Tender Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive transportation concepts, planning, and budgeting for the logistics scope of our sales offers, specifically for wind farm projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive logistics strategy concepts to optimize the transportation and logistics processes for wind farm projects.
- Evolution of detailed transportation plans and budgets for the logistics scope of sales offers.
- Creation of accurate cost calculations for the logistics of major components, minor materials, and tools required for wind farm projects.
- Understand the scope of works, identify potential risks and opportunities, and actively participate in the internal sales project review process to implement effective risk mitigation measures.
- Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Legal departments during the tendering phase to ensure all aspects of the project are considered and integrated.
- Consolidate, track, and update the cost database with lessons learned from previous operations to improve future project accuracy and efficiency.
- Communication between the regional teams and the head office to ensure consistent communication.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of tender and execution technical documents for logistics, enhancing the overall quality and clarity of project documentation.
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management/Logistics, alternatively, comparable professional training and/or extensive experience.
- Good knowledge of wind turbine and/or project logistics as well as good experience and/or knowledge of port operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management.
- Experience working in an international matrix organization.
- Business fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish and/or German is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
