Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Technical Global Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks to ensure site personnel are aware of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports to the line manager, highlighting site activities and any issues that require attention.
  • Liaise with other trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Plan and coordinate electrical site activities two weeks in advance to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Attend daily meetings with the project team to discuss site progress and address any concerns.
  • Ensure that labor requirements are met and maintained in accordance with project timelines.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards and ensure that all electrical work is completed to the required specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Notify the line manager of any variations or delays to the project schedule.
  • Ensure that all plant materials and equipment are stored and maintained in a safe and secure manner.
Compliance:
  • Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Review and implement changes to improve site safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all subcontractors maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
  • Complete weekly safety inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
Requirements:
  • Relevant 3rd-level electrical degree qualification.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
  • Data Centre experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel.
