Senior Software Architect

Your Role - Engaging and Forward-Thinking As a vital member of our Business Services division, you will collaborate with architects from various sectors within evosoft, tackling intricate challenges and contributing to a multitude of projects across all business functions. You will design and enhance software products for our clientele, employing cutting-edge architectural methodologies. Your responsibilities will include crafting software and system architectures, particularly leveraging cloud technologies, and overseeing their execution in collaboration with team members, clients, and end-users. You will hold technical accountability for the realization and enhancement of sophisticated software solutions, sharing your insights and best practices across the organization through community engagements. Your role will involve conducting code evaluations and independently developing prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs). Acting as a liaison for fellow architects and developers, you will present your concepts to peers and clients, ensuring continuous progress in your projects alongside your team. You will engage in a flexible and agile software development environment, applying DevOps principles to guarantee robust and efficient software design while adhering to security and safety standards. Your Qualifications - Comprehensive and Relevant You possess a passion for tackling complex challenges and a desire for professional growth. A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field is essential. Proficiency in software development across various platforms (e.g., .NET, Java, Python) and experience in data modeling and database systems is required. A minimum of 5 years in the design and conceptualization of complex software architectures, preferably in enterprise systems, along with familiarity in software lifecycle management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins) is expected. You are well-versed in key architectural styles and methodologies, capable of designing, assessing, and documenting architectures effectively. A broad interest in technology, coupled with the ability to inspire colleagues and clients with your enthusiasm, is vital, along with a commitment to continuous learning. Proficiency in both English and German is required.
