Your Role:
  • Define the software architecture to address our forward-looking challenges in digital grid software applications.
  • Focus on creating a modular software architecture designed for cloud environments, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Angular, microfrontends, microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes), graph databases, and big data solutions.
  • Lead the architectural design within our Agile Release Trains and support implementation across international development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow architects and development teams, leveraging your strong communication skills to drive change and project success.
  • Consider both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, redundancy, cybersecurity, and CI/CD practices.
  • Contribute actively to our software architecture community of practice, influencing the design of our grid software products.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification as a software architect (e.g., SSWA from the Siemens Core Learning Program or iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA) - Advanced Level) or relevant experience.
  • Extensive professional experience in defining software architectures for cloud-based products, preferably on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architectures, containerization, data streaming, and AWS technologies.
  • Proficient in designing architectures for highly available services and familiar with the challenges posed by big data technologies.
  • Enjoy working in an agile environment (SAFe framework) and adept at presenting complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with experience in global and multicultural teams.
