Job Title: Homologation Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Homologation Project Engineer to join our team at INEOS Automotive. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our vehicles with global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the homologation process for all applicable policies, standards, and regulations
  • Manage the introduction of new vehicles in terms of certification, gathering self-certification reports from partners
  • Coordinate and advise on changes or notices regarding government regulatory changes
  • Provide guidance on emission regulations and amendments
  • Implement and maintain compliance data and create homologation documentation for target markets
  • Support the creation and maintenance of internal policies and processes related to compliance
  • Work with external agencies and government regulatory authorities to ensure compliance
  • Prepare and submit regulatory approval documents and drawings to applicable bodies
  • Advise the Engineering team on legislative matters relating to automotive design, manufacture, and functionality
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in automotive homologation and legislation
  • Technical degree in Automotive Engineering or related field
  • Direct knowledge of automotive design and engineering process
  • High-level technical communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of regulatory changes' impact on design, production, and profitability
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English and German, French, and/or Portuguese is advantageous
