We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Governance Specialist to join our team at Munich Re. As a key member of our Claims Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our claims processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct internal reviews of claims processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain claims guidelines, work instructions, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze risks and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability within claims processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of claims-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on claims governance topics.
- University degree in law or a related field.
- Experience in claims management and governance, preferably in the reinsurance or direct insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with additional languages an asset.
