Senior Financial Contract Specialist

Position Overview: NES Global Deutschland GmbH is seeking a dedicated Financial Contract Manager to oversee financial governance within our contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive Supplier and Category Level expenditure and forecasting reports regularly, delivering insights to the Department Head. Proficiency in PowerBI and SAP is essential.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the IT Procurement Management Team, focusing on data analysis and financial reporting.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage all financial aspects of contracts throughout their lifecycle, from tendering to contract termination, including pricing strategies and service credit mechanisms.
  • Governance Structure: Establish and implement the financial governance framework for contracts, ensuring adherence to defined policies and reporting structures.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks associated with third-party IT service providers.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key IT vendors and internal stakeholders, such as IT Service Owners.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office O365, SAP, PowerBI, and Power Apps is required.
  • Customer-oriented approach, fostering cross-organizational relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of group-wide IT processes and governance for effective business collaboration.
  • Familiarity with relevant organizational and legal frameworks to ensure responsible conduct.
  • Extensive experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar contracting environment, preferably within IT.
  • Proven track record in implementing financial governance processes and driving process improvements.
  • Expertise in preparing complex financial reports and conducting data analysis.
  • Experience in managing third-party service providers, including managed services.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
