Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will tackle several exciting challenges, including:
- Conducting feasibility studies on the utilization of Open Street Map (OSM) data as reference maps.
- Gaining expertise in the OSM format and its applications.
- Transforming OSM data into compatible formats for subsequent processing.
- Visualizing OSM data using QGIS tools.
- Documenting processes and facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in computer science, geoinformatics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
- Programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Strong familiarity with MS Office applications.
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork.
- An analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Preferably, knowledge of QGIS or geographic information systems.
