Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator

Exciting Opportunity at Energy Efficiency Competence Center

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our expanding team at the Energy Efficiency Competence Center in Halle an der Saale. Our center aims to unlock energy efficiency potentials in industry and buildings using digitalization, serving as a central hub for small and medium-sized businesses and the building sector nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and gather data on efficiency potentials in the building sector through digitalization, including market analysis and industry trends
  • Acquire and collect data for publishing best practice examples and case studies
  • Assist in developing materials on energy management, data collection, and digitalization in buildings, including policy briefs and technical reports
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on legislation and incentives related to digital topics in climate protection and sustainability
  • Organize and lead information events like workshops and conferences, and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members

You will work in a self-organized sub-team of 6 within the larger team of 30 colleagues at the center, employing agile methodologies and collaborative work approaches. The full-time position is initially for two years with the possibility of permanent employment.

Requirements:
  • University degree with a focus on building-related topics like energy management and digitalization (Engineering, Building and Energy Technology, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or similar)
  • Prior work experience in a related field is advantageous
  • Systematic and independent work approach, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong motivation to contribute to the societal project of energy transition and sustainability
  • Proficient in German language
  • Excellent communication skills and team player, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
