About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead PVC Product Development Engineer to join our team at the VELUX Group. As a key member of our PVC Product Development Team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative PVC products that meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of PVC products from concept to launch, ensuring that they meet the company's quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure that PVC products meet customer needs and market requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of PVC products.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the PVC industry.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve PVC product quality, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in PVC product development.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in PVC product development, with a strong background in extrusion processes.
  • Proven track record of leading PVC product development projects from concept to launch, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analysis.
  • Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
