Senior Data Analytics Manager for Transaction Advisory (w/m/d)

As a Senior Data Analytics Manager for Transaction Advisory (w/m/d), you will become an integral part of a dynamic team of data specialists, delivering innovative and data-driven analyses for our clients in the transaction sector. You will collaborate closely with seasoned Transaction Advisory experts and clients, engaging in various projects and challenges.

Your Responsibilities

  • Utilize your business and technology expertise effectively in the transaction environment for national and international M&A transactions, where you will prepare, model, analyze, and visualize complex data.
  • Advise private equity funds and corporations on demanding buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as on the ongoing optimization of their subsidiaries.
  • Employ your creativity for compelling storytelling through selected data sources and analyses directly with clients.
  • Develop analytical methods to model complex business aspects based on their value drivers in direct project contexts.
  • Independently create new big data solutions to identify data-driven insights and value creation potentials.
  • Lead projects and teams, serving as the primary contact for clients and overseeing acquisition efforts.
Your Profile
  • You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
  • You possess at least three years of professional experience in Transaction Services, Valuation, M&A, Strategy, or Restructuring as a Data Analyst / Data Scientist.
  • You are proficient with various tools from the Data Analytics toolkit, particularly PowerQuery, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning and cloud environments (Azure) is advantageous.
  • You have project management and leadership experience in mixed business and technology teams.
  • You are willing to travel and adaptable.
  • Additionally, you have fluent German and English language skills.
