Student Researcher: Artificial Intelligence in Semiconductor Technology

We are seeking a highly motivated student researcher to contribute to our cutting-edge research in semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence. As a student researcher, you will work closely with our team to develop digital twins for complex semiconductor manufacturing processes, enabling process optimization and model-based control.

Our research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence algorithms to enrich process data with expert knowledge and incorporating unlabeled data through semi-supervised learning. This approach enables accurate predictions with limited reference data, a critical challenge in the industry's shift towards customized processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI algorithms to enhance process data and improve predictions
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement digital twins for semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Contribute to the development of model-based control systems for process optimization
  • Work closely with our researchers to integrate AI and semiconductor technology expertise

Requirements:

  • Practical experience with AI and machine learning algorithms
  • Excellent programming skills in Python
  • Strong interest in interdisciplinary work at the interface of semiconductor technology, data science, and artificial intelligence
  • Ongoing studies in a relevant field
  • A strong academic record
