About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS. As a student researcher, you will be working on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply AI and machine learning algorithms to enrich process data and improve process optimization.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement digital twins for semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to the development of sophisticated domain knowledge and semi-supervised approaches to incorporate unlabeled data.
Requirements
  • Practical experience with AI and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python.
  • Strong interest in interdisciplinary work at the intersection of semiconductor technology, data science, and artificial intelligence.
  • Currently studying in Chemnitz, Mittweida, or the surrounding area.
  • Average grade < 2.
