A significant objective in this evolution is to enhance the Lifetime Value (LTV) of our games, ensuring we not only attract but also retain player interest over extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a hands-on expert in game design, making informed decisions grounded in extensive knowledge of free-to-play (F2P) game design, economic balancing, and monetization strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Game Design and UI/UX teams, ensuring alignment with the vision of each game and the overarching goals of the company.
- Oversee the game design process from conception to live deployment, providing support to existing Game Designers in effectively crafting and documenting game concepts and features.
- Create and maintain standardized documentation templates to ensure consistency.
- Comprehend the entire game development lifecycle and optimize cross-departmental workflows to improve our processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in game design practices, collaborating closely with Product Management.
- Collaborate with the Product team to draft or update long-term vision documents for individual games.
- Utilize data-driven insights to enhance and innovate features across our game portfolio, focusing on maximizing player engagement and monetization.
- Establish and implement a clear, cohesive design pipeline for live games.
- Analyze performance metrics to refine game balancing, pacing, and overall player experience.
- Stay informed about market trends to ensure our games remain competitive and innovative.
- Recruit and assess new game design talent, fostering a skilled and cohesive team environment.
- Engage actively in the creation and development of new game prototypes, providing strategic design guidance to align with our future development and innovation objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities with a minimum of 5 years in game design, including over 2 years in team management.
- Strong expertise in game mechanics, live operations, F2P strategies, and monetization practices.
- Proficient in prototyping with a solid understanding of building modular and reusable features.
- Excellent analytical skills with a comprehensive grasp of mobile game KPIs.
- Extensive experience in balancing and economic design within F2P mobile games.
- Proficient in Unity and familiar with collaborative design tools such as Figma.
- Ability to articulate and deconstruct large features into manageable components.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, fluent in English.
- Adaptable to rapidly changing technologies and player trends to keep our games at the forefront of the industry.
