About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing site commissioning of automation and control systems worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of automation and control systems, including Siemens and Rockwell systems.
  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of digital turbine governor, vibration monitoring systems, and data acquisition systems.
  • Establish communication and network systems, considering cyber security requirements.
  • Fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and meet quality requirements.
  • Handover equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at our back office in Heidenheim.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in electrical and information technology engineering or information technology engineering. Experience in commissioning control systems is highly advantageous.

Requirements

  • Completed education in electrical and information technology engineering or information technology engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning control systems.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written. German and other languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office.
  • Ability to travel worldwide for short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
