Quality Assurance Specialist

Join our Program Quality team at HE Space, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product and process quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Quality Manager to address process and product quality issues during the project duration.
- Provide support to Project Managers regarding quality aspects at the project level.
- Analyze and manage quality incidents, delivering regular updates on quality status and assisting in major customer-related quality tasks.
- Oversee the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from initiation through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure.
- Participate in project reviews, serving as the primary contact for quality-related topics.
- Suggest and implement process enhancements throughout the project lifecycle, integrating them into the Business Management System (BMS).
- Identify and conduct Lessons Learned sessions to foster continuous improvement.
- Contribute to ongoing process evaluations and enhancements.
- Gather quality and performance metrics, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and maintain effective dashboards.
- Engage in company-wide improvement initiatives, such as Operational Excellence and Smart Quality, and ensure their application in projects.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in space and aerospace projects.
- Familiarity with economic and financial processes, as well as quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in Product Assurance and Quality activities within the space sector.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
