Expert Thin Film Equipment Specialist

As a Thin Film Equipment Operations Expert at Bertrandt, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of thin film module relevant equipment. This includes technical assessment, selection, introduction, phase-in, hook-up, tuning, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for building team structure and sustainably growing the competitiveness in equipment technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technology insight and planning of relevant manufacturing equipment to stay on track with industrial trends and directions.
- Responsible for equipment upgrade, modification, or 2nd source substitution to enhance comprehensive competency in efficiency, stability, and throughput.
- Independently complete the transformation and improvement of equipment, analyze and solve abnormalities of online machines and products.
- Train new employees and lead team members to complete scheduled work.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar discipline within the semiconductor industry.
- Over 12 years of experience working on semiconductor thin film equipment introduction or development.
- Fab experience in SiC and silicon product introduction or production is preferred.
- Good understanding of high temperature CVD, PVD, and evaporation equipment.
- Familiar with equipment suppliers in the industry and understand equipment design architecture.
