Magna Exteriors' product portfolio includes access systems such as tailgates, exterior trim components, modular systems, front-end modules including bumpers, active aerodynamic systems, and other lightweight components for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and other industrial markets.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller (m/w/d) to join our team in Meerane, Germany. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with local and US GAAP regulations.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and US GAAP regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal and external financial reporting, including the analysis of variances and trends.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable from intercompany and external customers.
- Prepare and conduct finance audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
- Coordinate business planning and controlling processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling or a related field.
- Experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of technical concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility, flexibility, and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- SAP knowledge is an asset.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
