Job Title: Heavy Special Purpose Vehicle Driver

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Special Purpose Vehicle Driver to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Heavy Special Purpose Vehicle Driver, you will operate a variety of heavy special purpose vehicles, including Unimogs and tractors, equipped with various attachments such as front loading pallet forks, buckets, and snow plows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy special purpose vehicles, including Unimogs and tractors, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks to ensure operational and safe condition.
  • Report any deficiencies or issues to the supervisor.
  • Wash and clean the vehicle after each use.
  • Complete trip tickets and accident reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a German driver's license class B and CE.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
  • German Language Proficiency level B2 required.
Working Conditions:

Working on weekends and holidays, as well as shift work, is required. On-call duty is also necessary. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
