Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Operator to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Heavy Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy special purpose vehicles, including Unimog and Tractor, equipped with various attachments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy special purpose vehicles, including Unimog and Tractor, with various attachments.
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks to ensure operational and safe condition.
  • Report any deficiencies to the supervisor and initiate repair work as needed.
  • Wash and clean the vehicle regularly.
  • Complete trip tickets and accident reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid German driver's license class B and CE.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
  • Have a German Language Proficiency level B2.
Working Conditions:
  • Work on weekends and holidays, as well as shift work, may be required.
  • On-call duty may be required.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 55 lbs may be required.
