Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Supplier Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with software suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement in supplier quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with software suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Evaluate supplier quality and performance in relation to compliance with DO-178C and DO-254 standards.
  • Ensure design and process reliability with software suppliers through regular audits and reviews.
  • Support the selection and development of software suppliers that meet the requirements of aerospace standards.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of software suppliers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to continuously improve supplier quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure supplier products meet project specifications.
  • Train and support internal teams in complying with DO-178C and DO-254 in relation to working with software suppliers.

Requirements

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • Proven experience in supplier development, ideally in the aerospace sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DO-178C and DO-254 standards and their application in practice.
  • Experience in the evaluation and selection of software suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • High willingness to travel, including international travel.
