Automotive Systems Technician

As an Automotive Mechatronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of our vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform oil changes and maintenance tasks in accordance with established service protocols, including all supplementary repairs.
- Conduct general electrical work on vehicles, addressing and replacing faulty electrical components.
- Organize and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Process service orders and determine necessary parts for repairs.
- Utilize service information systems effectively.
- Execute test drives as needed to ensure vehicle functionality.
- Guide and supervise trainees in adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment necessary for repair tasks.
- Document findings on repair orders for warranty considerations.
As part of the Mobile Service team, you will enhance customer satisfaction by providing on-site service:
- Engage in digital order processing directly with customers.
- Conduct pre-vehicle inspections, occasionally in the presence of the customer.
- Perform maintenance tasks, including those on high-voltage systems, using the Mobile Service VAN.
- Diagnose issues, perform minor repairs, and execute software updates.
- Discuss potential order extensions with customers and manage them in the system.
- Oversee the maintenance of the Mobile Service VAN.
- Contribute to efficient route planning through proactive engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician.
- Extensive repair experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Proficiency in workshop-related IT systems.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
- An independent working style complemented by teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- A familiarity with new media.
- A valid Class B driver's license.
