Automotive Systems Technician

This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities within the automotive service sector, focusing on the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform oil changes and maintenance tasks in accordance with the established maintenance system, including additional repairs as necessary.
- Conduct general electrical work on vehicles, including diagnosing and replacing faulty electrical components.
- Organize and prioritize work tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Input necessary extension orders into the system and assess the required parts.
- Utilize service information systems effectively.
- Conduct test drives when required.
- Guide trainees on safety protocols and ensure compliance.
- Maintain tools essential for repair tasks.
- Document findings on repair orders for warranty or goodwill claims.
As part of the Mobile Service team, you will provide exceptional customer service through:
- Digital order processing directly with customers on-site.
- Preliminary vehicle inspections, sometimes in the presence of the customer.
- Executing all maintenance tasks, including work on high-voltage systems, using the Mobile Service VAN.
- Diagnosing issues, performing minor repairs, changing wheels, and updating software.
- Discussing potential order extensions with customers and processing them in the system.
- Managing the Mobile Service VAN and contributing to route planning.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician.
- Extensive repair experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Proficient knowledge of workshop-related IT systems.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
- A high degree of independence in work style.
- Teamwork skills and a passion for interacting with people.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- A keen interest in new technologies.
- A valid Class B driver's license.
