Automotive Software Development Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Software Development Expert to join our team at FPT Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering and capturing business requirements from customers, understanding RFP/RFI, and preparing technical responses. You will also be responsible for customer presentations, whiteboarding of FPT services, and working with offshore development teams to create proposals and proof of concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and capture business requirements from customers by coordinating with the customer and sales team.
- Understand RFP/RFI to capture business requirements and prepare for technical responses.
- Deliver customer presentations and whiteboard FPT services in the automotive industry, including in-vehicle infotainment, AUTOSAR, ADAS, powertrain, connected vehicle, cockpit system, and mechanical design.
- Work with offshore development teams to create proposals and proof of concepts.
- Participate in public events and internal trainings.
- Help delivery teams in knowledge transition.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive software development and deep knowledge in one of the following areas: infotainment, AUTOSAR, ADAS, powertrain, connected vehicle, cockpit system, or mechanical design.
- 10+ years of working experience in automotive software development or presale position.
- Experience working as software solution architecture is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and execution of continuous delivery and development practices, familiar with automotive software development process: A-SPICE, Function Safety, Agile.
- Well knowledge in the automotive industry, familiar with working culture of OEM & Tier-1 in Germany.
