About AMBOSS: We are a dedicated team focused on enhancing medical education and resources for healthcare professionals. We are seeking a passionate internal medicine physician to contribute to our medical editorial team.
Your Role: In this position, you will leverage your clinical expertise to create and refine medical content that serves as a valuable resource for physicians. Your contributions will help elevate the quality of medical care globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with fellow physicians to design, develop, and author new medical content tailored for US practitioners.
- Evaluate and enhance existing content on our platform to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Work alongside illustrators to produce informative flowcharts and visual aids.
- Incorporate user feedback and integrate the latest evidence-based guidelines to maintain up-to-date content.
- Engage with marketing and product teams to improve our platform's usability for physicians.
- Become proficient in our content management system, which integrates text, images, and videos for article creation (no technical background required).
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent), preferably with a specialization in internal medicine.
- Recent clinical experience in internal medicine within the US (minimum of 3 years).
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to locate, interpret, and apply US clinical literature and medical society guidelines effectively.
- Solid understanding of evidence-based medicine principles.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively.
- Desirable: Interest in copywriting for marketing purposes and/or participation in conferences or online product demonstrations.
- Availability for full-time or near-full-time work.
- Willingness to relocate or work remotely within Germany.
- Collaborating with a team of intelligent and engaging editors.
- Translating complex medical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Conducting literature research and writing.
- Providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Acquiring new skills and adapting to innovative work methodologies.
- A 30-minute introductory call with a Talent Acquisition Manager to discuss your background and motivations.
- A skills assessment requiring up to 8 hours of your time within 2 days to evaluate your content creation abilities.
- A 45-minute discussion with the Hiring Manager and two internal medicine team members to review your assessment and explore team dynamics.
