**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Editor with expertise in Internal Medicine to join our team at AMBOSS. As a Medical Editor, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality medical content for our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development: Collaborate with our team of physicians to plan, develop, and write new medical content for US physicians.
- Content Review: Review and optimize existing content on our platform to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our illustrators to create new flowcharts and illustrations that support our medical content.
- Content Integration: Integrate user feedback and incorporate new evidence-based guidelines to keep our content current.
- Communication: Communicate with our marketing and product teams to optimize our platform and interface for physicians.
- Content Management: Become an expert in using our content management system, which seamlessly integrates text, images, and videos to create our AMBOSS articles.
Requirements
- Education: M.D. degree (or equivalent), ideally specialized in internal medicine.
- Experience: Current or recent experience working as a physician in internal medicine in the US (3 years or more).
- Language Skills: Excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
- Research Skills: Proficiency in finding, interpreting, and applying US clinical literature and medical society guidelines.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine.
- Communication Skills: Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
- Availability: Full-time or near-full-time availability.
- Location: Located in or willing to relocate to Germany (ideally Berlin). Remote work from within Germany is possible.

Interview Process
- Initial Call: A 30-minute call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers to get to know you and understand your career motivations.
- Skills Assessment: A skills assessment (time investment of up to 8 hours within 2 days) to find out more about your ability to produce well-researched, accurate, concise, and clearly structured content.
- Final Interview: A 45-minute call with the Hiring Manager and two members of the internal medicine team to discuss your assessment and get to know each other.
